So sorry, that is awful!
I am terrified of that!! However, there really is no other physical way to store them, can you imagine burning all that to discs?? I've heard of people using online storage for back ups, but I always wonder then who really has access to all my stuff...Good luck getting your data sorted out!

Anna love, I'm just returning after a lengthy MIA status and am saddened to hear of your HD loss.
I know that you are in Canada and not sure whether you are able to subscribe to MOZY ONLINE, but you know I HIGHLY recommend it! I pay just under $10/mo for two computer systems, each with EHD's connected and everything is backed up automatically leaving me at complete peace.
I hope that you are able to recover all files and that for AS MUCH as you create, you might look into an online backup service to leave you at peace from future data loss.
Sorry to ramble on so, but I care about your girlie and you work SO hard to take care of ALL of us in SCRAPLAND!
